In this assignment, the researcher will read and study the DDB lifestyle data located in the student's data files. Here we will check what characterizes the individual who want to buy differently from others, factors that contribute to the cost, McGuire’s motives that relate to these unique people, and identify the implications. Also, we will discuss factors of highly confident individuals, the big five personality dimension does self-confidence relate most to it and its implication. People tend to be motivated differently and this is can also be seen as individual differences. To develop the best marketing strategy it is important to understand customer buying power and pattern of purchase since every customer is unique. Motivation can be intrinsic and also extrinsic, both affect the decision of consumer behavior and determine how they will buy a product (Hawkins, & Mothersbaugh, 2013).
